James Kwiecinski, M.F.A., is a fine artist whose work has been shown all over the world. From Portland, Oregon and Miami, Florida to Reykjavik, Iceland, Jim’s work has captured the hearts and minds of many collectors. Whether in private settings or in major corporations, his works create rhythm and bring form to their viewers and environments.

After graduating from Ball State with a B.F.A., Jim completed his M.F.A. at State University of New York, New Paltz. From there, he went on to teach at his alma mater and to exhibit extensively around the world. His works have been published in many journals and Jim has received many distinguished honors including the Thayer Fellowship from Helen Harrison, noted juror from the New York Times.

Jim’s work has progressed in the manner of abstract expressionism and he continues to explore this intricate and complex form. His works with acrylic on paper surprise and delight the eye with free floating forms where his oil painted canvases draw the viewer into enchanting journeys.

Jim continues his work and has expanded his canvas to interior walls. He lives with his wife and daughter near Woodstock, New York.
